Lorji, Aboh Mbaise LGA; July 6, 2019: On Saturday, July 6, 2019, the traditional ruler of LorjiNwekeukwu Autonomous Community in Aboh Mbaise LGA of Imo State, Nigeria, HRH EzeNwambueze Ugorji (Orji Ukwu 1) and members of his cabinet, performed a long-awaited groundbreaking for the construction of a community center. Named the Odoziobodo Community Center at Lorji, the project is being built within the Nsibidi Estate at Lorji.
When finished, the center will serve as an event venue for community and private gatherings, a resource center for men and women, a skills acquisition joint for the youth, and a recreational place for indoor/outdoor sports. It is the first of a series of community centers that the non-profit group known as Organizing For Opportunities (OFO) plans to build in communities on the African continent.
